It’s officially the final hurdle before we can finally dig out the Michael Bublé album, our Christmas pjs and obviously, the TREE.

So, as it’s Guy Fawkes day, we thought we’d round up 5 of London’s top firework and bonfire displays for the rest of the week. You know how it is in London with fireworks – you go hard, or you go home. So, expect the best.

Because who isn’t down for toasted marshmallows, mulled wine and candy floss?

WIMBLEDON PARK

When? TONIGHT!

You’ve got to love an eco-friendly firework night. Fireworks rather than a bonfire, all in the name of supporting climate change – we stan.

There’s gonna be a funfair, fire acts and a lot of food. Think the good stuff, like doughnuts, meatballs and mac n cheese. This isn’t for the light-hearted, as you’ve got two firework displays to get your teeth stuck into here. One themed around The Greatest Showman and the other all about outer space. So, naturally, metallics and space buns at the ready.

KINGSTON FIREWORKS

 When? November 8

With music from Kingston’s own Radio Jackie and a funfair, you know it’s time to let your hair down. Even better, all the profits go straight to charity, so you know the hosts are good eggs.

BARNES SPORTS CLUB

When? November 9

Mulled wine, a smoky BBQ and a live DJ? Yes please. Round up the girls, throw on the thickest knitwear you can find and keep the drinks flowing.

WEMBLEY PARK

When? November 10

Wembley Park’s iconic Light up the Night is back. Even better, it’s FREE – woohoo! Here to celebrate the best of Diwali and Guy Fawkes, they’re going all out with a carnival parade, lantern making and lots of street food. North London's skyline is about to get lit.

SANKEYS LONDON, STUDIO 338

When? November 9

After hitting it off with a bang last year, Studio 338 is taking the party to new levels this year. A firework themed club night is niche, but we’re here for it – it beats getting freezing cold outside in the rain. With Miguel Bastida on the main stage and loads more DJ’s in the loft, it’s got to be worth the queue to get in. We dare you to last until 6am.

FOR NEXT YEAR…

Be prepared. Most of the best nights out happen before Bonfire Night, so get it in your diary for next year and don’t say we didn’t warn you.

Alexandra Palace, Richmond and Victoria Park always put on the best show, so write them in your diary for 2020. It's worth it, we promise.
