It’s World Vegan Month! So we’re doing our bit by rounding up 10 of our all-time favourite hotspots for vegan food in London. We don’t believe in people having to miss out on a fat burger, tray of sushi or super thick milkshake.

Every vegan in London knows about Farmacy, so this is for the non-vegans out there. Free from dairy, refined sugars and all the other nasties, you can be sure that you’re filling up on plant-based goodness here.

What we recommend: Japanese Earth Bowl

By Chloe is giving us all of the NYC brunching vibes. We’re really here for the push pops and the pastries – who wouldn’t be? Even better, the millennial pink interiors are exactly what dreams are made of.

What we recommend: ‘Tuna’ sandwich and the quinoa hash browns

With a few restaurants across London, you really don’t have any excuse not to give Mildreds a try. It’s the perfect place for a super chilled date night, especially with their vegan cocktails too.

What we recommend: Sri Lankan curry and the chocolate martini, obviously

Get your Mexican fix but make it vegan. Burritos, nachos, tacos, the LOT. Mexican street food is what we want what we really really want.

What we recommend: Nachos, all of the nachos

Whoever said vegan pizza is boring lied to us. A cheeseless base? We don’t know her. Fill your base with all of the good stuff. We’ll take extra chilli and a huge dose of mac n cheese, please.

What we recommend: Vulcano (if you can handle the heat)

Sustainable, vegan, nutritious AND Instagrammable? It’s revolutionary. Fill up on pancakes, buddha bowls and super smoothies for a completely guilt-free treat, and don’t forget to flaunt it on the gram… these interiors can’t be wasted.

What we recommend: Fish and chips – we couldn’t resist

A must-try afternoon tea, Leles is here to soothe our withdrawal symptoms from GBBO by putting on a spread and a half of insanely delicious afternoon tea. A chocolate dipped strawberry is always a winner.

What we recommend: Pancakes, pancakes and more pancakes

London’s only plant-based hotel restaurant had to be given a sly mention. Rivalling Leles for the greatest afternoon tea of them all, we’re more than willing to taste everything on both menus to make the final call.

What we recommend: we’re strictly here for the cake

To all of those who said vegans must eat lettuce after a night out, let the vurger co prove you wrong for the last time. Philly hot dogs, Kentucky chicken and big juicy burgers, what more could you want?

What we recommend: Oreo shake and big mex burger – go hard or go home

We simply couldn’t recommend our favourite food spots without sliding in sushi somewhere. Itadaki zen is here to make all of our Japanese food dreams come true. They know the tea - sushi is love; sushi is life.

What we recommend: Bento box
