WHOLESALE ACCOUNT MANAGER

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong Wholesale Account Manager with a background in wholesale fashion retail. In this role you will be responsible for helping strategic growth and acquisition of wholesale accounts internationally. Reporting into Head of Wholesale, you'd support with management of current accounts, maintain current relationships, simultaneously building new relationships with retailers & brands.

Full time Contract

Main responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and assisting the Head of Wholesale in managing all wholesale accounts.
  • Reporting into Head of Wholesale.
  • Maintain and establish relationships and build new relationships with retailers and brands.
  • Research and monitor the market to discover new potential partners.
  • Suggest opportunities of how to grow the wholesale business.
  • Create linesheets, selling tools for the wholesale department.
  • Present and sell collections to current and potential clients.
  • Work closely with the buying and production team when raising and checking POs and order confirmations.
  • Support the buying team when inputting orders into Zedonk.
  • Support with the organisation and diary management of wholesale meetings during selling season.
  • New vendor set up – ensure information is entered accurately across all software.
  • Assist the Head of Wholesale when uploading collections into NuOrder software.
  • Manage the order processes including order inputting, confirming orders with wholesale partners and following up with any issues/changes.
  • Provide communication support and customer service with wholesale partners in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and maintain wholesale customer relationships.
  • Monitor online stores to make sure our brands are well represented (images, visual merchandising, RRP, etc).
  • Monitor Wholesale partners’ stock ensuring key products are available and flagging any stock risk or missed opportunity.
  • Understand the markets, accounts, potential accounts, and opportunities in all areas.
  • Research and monitor the market to discover new potential partners.
  • Work closely with the Distribution manager to monitor shipments and ensure timely deliveries to Customers.

Your skills and experience:

  • Must have a minimum of 2+ years of fashion wholesale experience in UK, European, EMEA or Asia markets.
  • Passion for fashion sales, product and retail.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels of the business and with external customers.
  • Experience in developing existing accounts and multi products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills/able to communicate effectively across organisation.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of personal accountability.
  • Poses ability to thrive in a goal-driven and fast pace environment.
  • Exhibit a strong work ethic, high energy level, and detail/team-oriented.
  • Highly organised with strong follow up skills.
  • Strong organisational skills working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent computer skills (Excel) Use of NuOrder and Zedonk beneficial.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus and adaptability to different personality types.
